  The Watchtower's Real Crisis

  when discussing the watchtowers financial problems, i've generally been of the opinion that they probably are not in a real financial crisis.

  i've come to believe that money may be something of an issue, but its wrapped up in a much larger problem.

  this came to me this morning when reading about the annual meeting.. i think the society's leadership is just plain out of ideas.

  Spot on! The Society's leadership are appaling leaders. They're certainly not scholars. Neither are they teachers. They exemplify Peter Principle.

  Their printed/digital output too too often extolls the GBoJW, the FDS, the Organisation, and BoE. For example, a recent article praised "the publications of the Faithful Slave" and deserted the phrase "bible based publications" such is their wanton conceit.

  I now understand why they abandoned the statement of purpose from the WT study edition (Jan 2013 WT onwards). The magazine (and other outputs) are not based on the authority of the Bible as they claimed up to December 2012, but rather, on what their vacuous minds perceive to be fitting.

  how many times have you heard that trope?.

  i found it more irritating than a dose of farmers on the bum.

  i've even said it when i was a brainwashed jobo drone.

  When is the last time you saw an educated middle class family become Jehovah's Witnesses?

  we know from casual observation that if anybody does respond to their preaching/recruiting work it is usually someone that is a social misfit in some way or a person that was indoctrinated early in life.. think about all the nicer neighborhoods witnesses preach in.

  if a family of four with a father that is an engineer and a mother who is a medical professional ever walked into a kingdom hall for the first time and said they were studying, people would faint.

  lol.... this of course isn't what you would expect from a religion backed by the ultimate intelligent creator.

  I haven't seen any such middle class / educated folks become JWs in recent years. However, I have seen several such families exit - health professional; geologist; accountant. Also mothers and victims of BoE bullying (via "shepherding visits" but more like the "kiss of death" as one elder used to say).
  

  The recent declaration of the British Charity Commission's labeling the Watchtower Society of Britain's attempted obstruction of investigation as "unprecedented", is leading others to see how really loving "the society is"! The Watchtower Society of Britain has created a relatively safe pretext for departure (WT response to child abuse issue). Several in my congregation have departed since the Charity Commission's declaration. The BoE dare not respond punitively to this rationale for departure. Thus, the luminaries in the Britain Branch (Gillies, Papps et al) may have shot themselves in the foot! I picture them in my mind as demon possessed swine who will hopefully jump over a cliff!

  Britain Branch to Cease Printing Sooner Than Expected

  i've received the following news from a reliable and trusted source: .

  the demise of printing literature in the u.k. is being brought forward by one year - to march 2018. graphic design and printing support will go too.

  large numbers of "disposable" bethelites will now have to make their own way in the world, when their "mother" abandons them.

  How many "leave the truth" because of the behaviour of harsh elders?

  just wondering how many are assisted to wake up after experiencing harsh treatment from "the loving shepherds of the congregation"?.

  perhaps some were starting to wake up, and such behaviour or treatment gave them the push to leave?.

  as jesus supposedly said "come to me all who are toiling and loaded down, and i will refresh you.

  I too departed due to aberrant behaviour on the part of the BoE. On the 3rd such occasion I departed the congregation. I just cannot tolerate abuse.

  WTBTS of Britain selling another Kingdom Hall

  while having a sojourn in se england yesterday (bank holiday weekend) i noticed this a few meters from the entrance to richmond park.... .

  this is the kingdom hall of the richmond park congregation of jehovah's witnesses.

  i checked the website of the estate agent (bonsors) and there is no mention of the property or the price.

  While having a sojourn in SE England yesterday (bank holiday weekend) I noticed this a few meters from the entrance to Richmond Park....

  

  This is the Kingdom Hall of the Richmond Park congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. I checked the website of the estate agent (Bonsors) and there is no mention of the property or the price. Following a few phone calls, I learned that this congregation is destined to utilise a Kingdom Hall in Tolworth. However, the website of JW's still has Richmond Park congregation listed at the Kingston upon Thames address - so no moving as yet...

  
  

  This kindom hall should fetch a good price as Kingston upon Thames is a costly area! I suspect that many will resent having to move to Tolworth. But what does the WTBTS of Britain care? They have God's unreserved blessing and can do what they wan't - consistent with the GBoJW's preferences mind you!

  Will your Kingdom Hall be next? Where will you have to travel to? Don't forget to budget for the extra distance! No trough in contributions acceptable!
